Responsibilities of Merchants/Pet Shops

4.1. Merchants and pet shops listing their pet products and services on Petopedia are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the health and welfare of the pets, and the fulfillment of any agreed-upon transactions.

4.2. Any loss or damage to pets, whether during transport or while in the possession of the owner, shall be the sole responsibility of the merchant or pet shop involved in the transaction.

User Responsibilities

5.1. Pet owners are encouraged to thoroughly review and verify the details of pet product and services listings, ask relevant questions, and ensure the suitability of the pet before completing any transactions.

5.2. Petopedia is not liable for any disputes, losses, or damages arising from transactions between users and merchants/pet shops.

Platform Integrity and Compliance

6.1. Petopedia reserves the right to remove any listings, suspend accounts, or take appropriate action against users or merchants who violate our policies or pose a risk to the community.

Limitation of Liability

7.1. Petopedia is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from the use of our platform. Users expressly acknowledge that any transactions conducted through Petopedia are at their own risk.

Amendments to Terms

8.1. Petopedia reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

9.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Malaysia.

12.3. Age Restrictions: Users must be at least 18 years old to register.

Vendor Information

13.1. Vendor Registration Requirements: Vendors must provide their business name, business registration number, contact information, and a list of products they intend to sell.

13.2. Vendor Responsibilities: Vendors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of product listings, maintaining adequate stock levels, and fulfilling orders promptly. They must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

13.3. Product Listing Guidelines: All product listings must include accurate descriptions, pricing, and images. Prohibited items, including pets, are not allowed. Vendors must update their listings regularly to reflect current availability.

Transactions and Payments

14.1. Accepted Payment Methods: FPX, DuitNow, Cards, E-wallet.

14.2. Transaction Process: Payments will be processed through the platform, and vendors will receive payouts on a scheduled basis.

14.4. Dispute Resolution Mechanism: Disputes between vendors and buyers will be handled according to the platform’s Dispute Resolution Policy. Vendors are required to cooperate with the resolution process.

Shipping and Delivery

15.2. Delivery Timelines: Vendors are required to ship products within 5 business days of receiving an order.

User Content

16.1. Rules for User-Generated Content: Users may post reviews and comments as long as the content is not illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, or infringing on intellectual property rights. Petopedia Sdn Bhd reserves the right to remove or edit such content.

16.2. Intellectual Property Rights: Users grant Petopedia Sdn Bhd a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media.
